Network & Beliefs The Fountain Church is in partnership with the Northwest Ministry Network, the local expression of partnership for the Assemblies of God in Washington state. We affiliate with the Assemblies of God because of our shared passion for ministry, the strength and encouragement of other churches, and in our understanding of doctrine. In no way do we see our views as the "only" views, and partner with many fellowships and denominations locally. Our affiliation comes out of a deep belief in the power of God's Holy Spirit to lead the church. We believe the Holy Spirit is personal, and dwells in those who have put their faith in Jesus. When spiritual gifts become the focus, we can quickly lose focus of Jesus and His mission, but when spiritual gifts are exercised according to Biblical guidelines, and in love, then lives are impacted in an eternal way. "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
